Albania’s Trade with the EU countries is at 69.5 percent

On July 2013, Albania records exports of 24,244 mln leke commodities, increasing 16.8 percent compared with June 2013 and increasing 23.9 percent compared with July 2012.  Albania’s trade with the EU countries is at 69.5 percent.

The main trade partners remain Italy and Greece. Trade with Italy is 38.7 percent, while with Greece is 7.2 percent. Some of the partner countries with which our export and import is increased are: in exports, Germany, Italy, China, Turkey, etc and in imports, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, etc.

The comparison with the previous month of some group commodities shows that: Export of group “Wood manufacture and article of paper” increased 66.4 percent, “Machinery, equipment, spare parts” increased 40.6 percent, “Textile and footwear” increased 24.4 percent, etc. Export of group “Leather and leather manufacture” decreased 11.3 percent, “etc.
